During the CoP11 of Convention on Biological Diversity 1-19 October 2012, Babul ngo has organized Biodiversity Film Festival in associationwith the I&PR Dept Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad Film Club and Bangalore Film Society. 55 films were screened over a period of 5 days at Indira Pryadarshini Auditorium, Public Gardens, Hyderabad. Minister D K Aruna inaugurated the film festival. Sekhar Kammula,Film Director, R V Chandravadan IAS, cast of Telugu film Life Is Beautiful, Hyderabad Film Festival Secretary Prakash Reddy graced the occasion. Babul has also conducted a Seminar about Engaging the Youth for Biodiversity conservation and a mini Film Festival at the venue of CoP11 HICC, Hyderabad. Both the festivals were attended by students, National and International delegates and people from all walks of life.
